Llano Colorado, Valle de San Vicente, Mexico
Surco Rojo from Vinícola Regional is made in Ensenada, Baja California; particularly in the San Vicente Valley, one of the most renowned wine regions in the country. It is exceptional and difficult to achieve a blend that will surprise you the moment you try it for its balanced and unmatched flavor. This is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Nebbiolo produced by Colaboración Enológica, a wine project that was born from one of the main grape producers in Baja California. It is one of the main suppliers of vitis vinisfera for different Mexican wineries, as well as an exporter of table grapes. In Baja California, the vineyards used to make the Surco Rojo blended red wine are located on La Antigua Ruta del Vino (the original one) in the town of San Vicente Ferrer, which represents the second most important wine-growing area in the state and the country. It is in this area where some of the most exquisite Mexican wines have been produced. The production of the two grape varieties used to create Surco Rojo covers a total of 373 hectares divided into three vineyards: Viñedos Nuevo San Vicente, Viñedos Llano Colorado and Viñedos La Calentura. This is a large wine project that is anchored to where it should start, from the land.
